wha?

-3 genex neutron

-1 the calculator
-1 Quickdraw Synchron

+2 Debris Dragon
+2 Lonefire Blossom
+1 Tytanial
+1 Spore
+1 Glow up Bulb
+1 Super-Nimble Mega Hamster
+3 Ryko, LIghtsworn Hunter
+1 Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress/Snowman Eater
+2 Caius, the Shadow Monarch

-2 Tuning
-3 Inferno Recless Summon
-2 Urgent Tuning

+3 Pot of Avarice
+2 Solemn Warning

EDIT : The fixes above are for a basic extra deck. If you want to keep your quickdraw deck original take out cards like chaos end master, and 1 quickdraw (3 is too much) for 2 tuningwares and some junk synchrons while keeping Tuning at too. And keep Road warrior at your extra deck.

listen redgar the point isnt to just gain a powerfull deck so i can win......the point is to learn building a good deck which i suck!! only 2 decks i build perfectly all by myshelf and they rock the first is dark synchron and the second flamvell cat which got screwed by the update of banlist and for the records with flamvell cat deck i beat scorpion with result 2-0 at a tourney once...(still remembering the great wins back then :P)

If you want to learn bulding good decks, use decklists you find on the interent. (Ignore people that say you netdck and stuff like that) . Netdecking is not bad for an amateur-intermediate player. By playing with it you will realize how the deck works and you will slowly begin to remove some cards to put some different cards of your choice which fit your playstyle better and you think are more useful in your duels.

I wouldn't say you CAN'T play QuickDraw without plants, but that's where they work best, or at least use dandylion. Redgar, your build interests me though, could you please pm me your decklist? Mysterious...what the heck man? Vem just spent a lot of time trying to help you and you gave him -2 rep. He wasn't insulting you by saying it's okay to netdeck. Even good player such as vem and I check to see what other cards players use and why they use them. It's like a base that you can go off of...usually you keep the engine and use your own tech. For my QuickDraw build, I took Jeff jones' original build, and slowly changed it to my playstyle and what I though would be better tech, and I also changed it to match the new format, and changed it when new supprot came out. Some of my changes were copied by other people, like not using ladd and night assailant. You can be unique while using the same basic engine. Clearly, netdecking isn't the only way to build decks, but it does help whether you're an amateur, intermediate, advanced, or a pro. We're not making you change the deck to be like everyone else, we're just trying to help

If someone asks you to help him, telling him to netdeck before anything else is one of the worst advice, imho.
When building a deck, you have to think of possibilities. The posibility of having a monster in your hand, playing a trap, having your cards protected, having cards that will protect you from your opponent's cards, card advantage, etc.
When adding a card, think what could be better in that card's position. For example you put "Urgent Tuning" in this deck, probably thinking that first you attack with your monsters and then tune them to attack a second time.
Now think of the drawbacks:
it is a trap card, so rather slow,
you use it to synchro so with the used synchro materials you probably get -2
it doesn't save you from cards like mirror force etc,
you will, most likely, have to synchro summon to surpass the opponent's monster, so it won't be used
etc

About netdecking: netdecking is NOT a necessary evil. I don't netdeck because I have take pride in the decks I build. When you start building a new deck first think about the deck then take ideas about it and don't copy the whole damn thing. Games are not about winning, they're about gathering knowledge. An inexperience player that netdecks won't get experience. A medium-leveled player (like myself) can netdeck (though I wouldn't do it) to understand how a deck works. But that's if you're too lazy to think of it without playing. When you look at other players' decks, you should get ideas and think of how you use them for your own style of play (aggresive etc).

I like original decks the most. But what you most often will see are well known deck builds with twists, like a "Greenkappa" in an anti-meta deck.

Fixes that are not explained will not help an amateur (or even intermediate) player.

@Mys: you're doing it wrong :P Plus, don't be that harsh!
@vem: I'll give you back +2 rep but don't post dry changes, he's clearly trying to learn basic deck building.

you just seemed a little harsh is all, saying his advice was useless and taking away rep for trying to help you. there's another variation of quickdraw that's actually okay, and that's using it with tuningware (which you do). but you still want the basic engine, so take vem's build, take out the tytannial/lonefire engine, maybe spore and super-nimble, and add 3 tuningware and a junk synchron or two and/or turbo synchron. also take out some other stuff for machine dupe or inferno reckless summons, and anothr tuning. one for one and level eater work well in that kind of deck also. sorry for the vague advice but i haven't tested that kind of deck before, i will post more later if i test it
