I personally Love beast king in general and have tried many different variants to make him consistent and deadly. this is the 3rd version and its a pretty solid build IMO. But i like to get your opinions.


Deck total: 40

Monsters: 15
3x Beast King Barbaros
2x malefic Stardust Dragon
2x thunder king
3x neo alius
1x stratos
2x Gemini Lancer
1x gorz
1x Cyber Dragon

Pretty odd lineup, allows e-heros to do what they normally do.Malefic stardust is a trade in target as well as special summon goodness for endgame and beast king is a BOSS in general

Spells:16
3x Gemini Spark
2x pot of duality
2x Miracle Fusion
1x Future Fusion
1x Forbidden Chalice
2x Mystical Space Typhoon
1x reborn
1x Giant Trunade
2x trade in
1x reinforcement of the army

Bulky spell line up. Trade in/ pot/ spark for draw power, and Miracle Fusion works wonders. Makes Zero/shining/ Gaia.

traps: 9
3x Skill Drain
2x warning
1x Call Of The Haunted
1x Dark Bribe
2x compulsory evac device

Minimal trap lineup. But they all prove quite useful. I've been thinking of adding Magic cylinder because it makes me

OK from what I see, you basically want a deck that lets Beast King beat the opponent, well the first thing you must do is get rid of Gorz, he can't be summoned while you control a card and you need skill drain in here. Also you need a field spell, since skill only negates monsters on field, not those in hand, and whil in hand you need a field spell to summon MSDD. Since your using heroes try maybe skyscraper or sumthin like that. Also I don't see a dark hole there. It's needed. With all the draw power I don't think you need two duality so you can take 1 out. Lastly, you have a extra deck full of synchro monsters but no tuners, since you're using skill drain try using debris since I believe its effect is negated thus allowing it to sync other than dragons. Although I'm not sure.

I always have mixed feelings about gorz. But i understand what you are getting at. Initially i had 2x captain gold and 1x skyscraper instead of the rai-o oh and cyber dragon, Do you propose i go back to that setup?

Yes i may have glossed over judgement and dark hole I will switch the 2 ced's for them. I am very adamant about taking out the 2nd pot of duality as there have been times where that draw has been key.

I have the extra deck up in case i reborn a tuner, but i get your point, Ill test out debris or maybe a plague/ glowup. Rota was already in deck just forgot to put it up.

Pot of avarice seems counter productive as after the e heros get sparked i like to have the be miracle fodder. but I will test your fixes and see how the flow of the deck changes Thanks
