Is this your first attempt on drawing such things? The Chopper dude looks terrible but the Luffy dude is decent, much better than the Chopper one.

I think they both look good unless you have experience in drawing.

This is alot better than the previous ones :)

However, his face is a LITTLE BIT too large.

Also, I loled twice at the same paper you used and at the description below :

Add some more shade, makes it look more realistic and the arm needs some work, looks abit cartoonish in my opinion. Also you could add some more details in the hat.

You know winduct that character is from an anime so it's logical it will be what you tell ''cartoonish'' :S

9/10 by me redgie , it's total awesome O.o

Winduct the hat is exactly like this the red line originally in the center of it is covered by the lower part of the hat. Also to wich hand are you refering to?

Actually this is pretty awesome O.o what you need to improve is :

Sense of perspective
Arms are just a BIT too short, considering the size of the legs
His head is also a BIT too small, if you make it a little bigger it'll be awesome
Draw some lines on the hat since it should look old and used
The end of his trousers is white, take a look at some photos of luffy from the anime :)

Other than these, pretty awesome : 8.5/10

The second one is pure awesomness, it also has the sense of depth I was talking about, you feel like the sword in his left hand is nearer than the right one :D 10/10
