| Well just to introduce you to this deck, I should say it's kinda weird and all. I believe It's a watered down version of Light Beat/BWs with some defence. Through many duels I've played, this deck need drastc changes, but I'm not sure myself where to start, so with some encouragment from vem, I decided to post it.

| I dont like the reptilliane engine so i d suggest removing it.I beleieve 3 overlords are nescessary for the deck.Add 2 kids in reptilliane's place maybe. 3 alien warrior are very good. 1-2 telepath's are very good(he reminds me of breaker :P) and ofc 3 armontite's.Also 1 of the alien normal monster that has 1900 wouldnt be a bad beatstick!Also in this deck swords of rev light are very broken since you can use em all the time! 3 code ruins are also nesscesary to run the deck propesly since it doesnt plus a lot with the rest of the cards!Also a very combo card in A-cell incurator it offers you free counters! And maybe a 2ndMystirious traiangle it is very good! In trap engine i suggest call of the haunted since it is also reusable and maybe other continouus traps like mass hypnosis or gravity bind! | |

Well the main reason I use the "Reptilianne Engine" (it's hardly an engine at all :( ) is because 2000 DEF in this format withstands first-turn drops (the 1900 ATK monsters etc), helps you not lose advantage, works realy great with Offering, has Naga which makes cards like Tytanial useless and withstands attacks to be used as tributes or with Offering.
Bad thing is they don't work with ammonite and virus.
Generaly Aliens have very low ATK factors.
I had included Alien Kids in a previous build, it is an awesome A-counter generator but it realy doesn't work well with Planet Pollutant Virus.
Telepath is great and it doesn't have the put-a-counter-to-get-the-effect which makes Breaker slow. I haven't considered using him up 'till now because of the multiple Offerings I run. Also the A-counter effect is written on him too, making him a "multiplier" (multiple A-counter effects are stackable, meaning 2 a-counters could give a monster -1200 ATK). I have forgotten adding one or two MSTs too.
Swords run well with Gol'gar but I have summoned him only once in 6 games!... Gol'gar needs two counters to work which I can't seem able to generate as monsters come and go all the time. Maybe with some changes I will be able to produce more a-counters, but at what cost?
Ruins need testing and now that I think about it, a Kid with Triangle face-down is not a bad play. Also Kid is LIGHT so that could increase the chances of adding Honest in the deck too. I kind of oversaw incubator. Call of the Haunted. Hmmm... I'll need more testing :D
PS: I started making the deck with the thought that simplifying the game can be advantageous. After reading TDP's article and playing some more matches, I think it could have some potential. | |

| Haha called it engine cause it consumes 5 of your spots. Havent thought of them that way to be honest. I find very pleasing that someone actually cares about decks like these beacuse most players prefer running meta after meta after meta and "smaller" decks like these dissapear. If you conclude your build post it here if you dont mind! | |

| Whoa, Offering ftw!! I completely forgot about that card! It's like Icarus Attack but better bc if it's negated, you keep your monster bc it's not a cost. PPV is pretty nice too, nice idea. I keep finding card like this too, Icarus Attack, Gemini Spark, Morphtronic Accelerator, and now Offering to The Snake Deity. Could use a little fixing though...try this:

Don't like hunter, he seems a bit useless outside of turn 1. He just isn't big enough to run over a lot of stuff. I want to run more ruins and triangles pretty badly but idk what to take out. I would probably drop pods or boms, but you need pots for speed and books=win, especially since if you run into a decree build, you're *CENSORED!* without them for defense. Maybe even drop 1 PPV for a ruins or triangle, but idk, it needs testing to know for sure. I would only run 2 of each though (triangle and ruins) bc you won't always have a-counters. A third overlord would be nice too, but again, it needs testing. Do you mind if I swipe this deck to test it? Hope this helped and props to you for unearthing an underestimated archtype | |

The deck is more aggressive without the Reptilliane but I often find myself having no monster on the field to maintain Offerings and Viruses. The deck I've been running against most of the time after the changes is QD or QD plant or plant synchros and this deck can't match their speed. I kill synchros with Off/Virus but I use up all monsters on my field. Those decks also don't rely on heavy backrow, in which this deck specialises in taking out. I tried using Call of the Haunted, but right now it's not of much use. Cards that could be tried: Dimensional Fissure Messenger of Peace Swords of Revealing Light Solidarity and more copies of other cards that I already include. Also, I couldn't use Code A Ruins in for my advantage in 90% of my duels so I tried taking it out for space. - Spoiler:
Black Garden: Usable with Alien Kid. That way my opponent always has monsters face-up and i can also destroy two or more of the tokens to ss monster whose attack is divisible by 800. Most aliens have 1600 so it comes in handy. It hampers with the ATK of my monsters too, but I can use Off/Virus anytime to get rid of my opponent's. Note that the tokens cannot surpass Alien Kid because they have an A-counter on them. This a-counter generator could bring back Code A Ruins in 2 copies back to the deck. Also "returnable" with Gol'gar. Used with extreme caution though because there is no guarantee there's not a ryko face-down.

Prohibition: Thank you TDP. Never thought of this before. Handy for abusable cards such as Debris, Lonefire, Glow-up and much much more. Bad thing is I can't play it in my first turn if I don't know what deck I'm facing. Good thing is I can adapt with Gol'gar. If only I could see my opponent's hand...
Other ways to counter synchro decks could be Summon Limit, Royal Oppression etc. Also I'm having trouble with Trap negation, so I guess I should add Seven Tools of the Bandit or something similar. | |

That's 37 cards. I'm lacking some spell/trap line-up imo. What should I try: Book of Moon, Dimensional Prison, E-Controller, Trunade, Trap Dustshoot, an additional Code A, Torrential Tribute? Anything else? Any preferences?
I also have a terrible Extra deck... 1x Armory Arm (Lv4) 1x Gaia Knight, the Force of the Earth (6) 1x Iron Chain Dragon (6) 1x Black Rose D. 1x Power Tool D. most are almost unusable (and they are 16 I know, I'm almost sure what I'll drop-everything xD) Right now there is no way, for example, to summon Red Nova. The only way to get him would be to add a Junk Synchron for example which wouldn't be such a good idea (3 targets besides ammonite who is a tuner).
Wish me luck to get a Scrap D., a Gol'gar, a Catastor and a Wurm xD
Anything for side? Just ideas, I don't want a full build ofc! Thank you!

| Well you said you don't want a full build but I would change around the deck a bit. I know you think you have to have lots of monsters to run Pffering effectively ut really you don't need much. This seems to be stun and stun doesn't need many monsters, plus it's a good idea to not run as many monsters if you can help it bc of gk. | Thank you very much Harp! :) I can't afford Pot of Dualitities and Solemns though, so, what would you suggest to replace them?
That's why I run so many monsters, without the dualitites to search them I usually have to either tribute them or destroy them, thus keeping my field empty and that's bad ;/ Stun now runs on dualitites I'm afraid and I can't get them :(
Also, did you miss a Lv9 synchro in the extra deck, or did you do that on purpose? | |

| You're welcome :). For Warnings just use Bottomless instead. Duality is a little harder to replace...it is what it is. You could run 3 more monsters instead. Or perhaps you can try something weird like Jar Of Greed. It also lets you draw, though it's a trap. But you can work the trap part to your advantge by setting it and baiting an mst. Worth a try I guess haha. Or depending how it runs with a low monster count you could bump up your copies of Code A and Triangle. And for the extra you should have Mist Wurm instead of a 2nd blackrose, my bad. Trishula when she comes out edit: can you afford judgement? I think it's about 10 bucks. If not use 7tools | |
