Riddle Competition 8

Each week I will post a riddle/quiz.
- All participants must PM ME the answer of the riddle as well as it's explanation
- It would be good that if you already know the riddle you should't compete
-No googling allowed

Because of raising activity in this topic the Staff decided that the prizes can go up!!!

So 1st place gets 150 credits second place gets 75 and third place 50

All other participants get 25 credits for entering

So here is this week's riddle(easy difficulty):

Agree that it is relatively easy. I do not care about the difficuclty I just want more people to compete in this one. So I sacrificed difficulty to gain activity. Let's see if it works :P

Ok now seriously both of you stop it it's getting rediculus(ESPECIALLY IN MY TOPIC :) ). Harper you didnt need to writte that an admin can take care of things like this. Aris thank you for the interest but if you want to know please contact me in pm so that this mess wont be created. Also if I reveal how many entered and turns out to be more than 3 people will get discouraged in participating.

Ok guys another riddle competition has come to it's end. Quite a few participants but still I would like to see more members participating in future riddles. So the results are:

Can you please explain this riddle before I lock it? It doesn't make sense to me :( If the surgeon was the mother then what information do we get from the fact that his father was sent to a different hospital? And why was he?

The information is in bold. The father was taken to a different hospital, so he couldn't have operated, meaning only someone who was the son's parent could have operated him. But since his father is out of discussion, his mother was the only available parent left :P

As for why the father was sent to a different hospital:

2 fathers and 2 sons go fishing. Each of them catches one fish. So why do they bring home only 3 fishes?

Remember? You don't state that the father is the son's father. It could be the surgeon's father, couldn't it? :3
