Trust me on this one mate, I'm experienced with these guys ^^. Reason for Spy is for more advantage and field presence. Scraps have a hard time with field presence because of Scrapstorm. You might say "oh, what's one direct attack going to hurt?" But many decks otk easily this format and one turn is all they need. So it's good to do your beat to build up field advantage instead of losing it. Scrap are good with hand advantage already. And also the spies are for Arcanite (who has won me many games), defense, and just stalling lol. Run 2 or 3, if you run 2 run Monk. Now the reason I believe Decree is bad in the main. Let's say you duel against Samurai. They don't give a *CENSORED* whether they have traps or not. Samurai ARE faster than you whether you want to believe it or not. If you hve no traps that's easier for them to otk you. Let's say you're dueling against Fish or Monarchs. They also don't give a *CENSORED* if they have traps because they don't even have any. Any Ddcree you draw is dead, while it could have been a Warning to stop Caius. More than that, with Decree you have NO defense. Last format you had 3 book, now only 1. However, against some decks (Infernity, Stun, other trap heavy decks) Decree can give you advantage...against Infernity it's pretty much autowin. But you need traps in main. The other Scraps truly are sub-par because of the advantage problem Scraps already have. Worm is just about useless...if your Scrap survives long enough to summon him too, why would you? Let's say you attack and activate hi effect, destroying a Beast. Who cares? You gave yourself a +0 to add something to your hand and take away from your field presence (which I already explained is a bad idea). A wimpy 500 atk minster and no backrow or Drcree let's people otk you just as easily as nothing. Why would you normal summon Worm if you could instead summon a level 4 monster and tune up with Beast for Scrap Dragon? The other Scraps are similarly bad, except Searcher, he's pretty good with his nuking and Treeborn-like effect. The only reason I don't use him is because he's a pain in the butt ti send ti the grave. You will likely use Scrapstorm for Chimera so you can add him to hand, and Foolish to send Golem to grave. Searcher is bottom priority, so what often seems to happen is he gets stuck in my hand while I have better things to normal summon. Teching 1 isn't a terrible idea but...just not the smartest way IMHO. The reason for only 1 Golem is: I hardly ever normal summon him. If I can I Foolish him or Scrapstorm him so that when I summon Scrap Dragon or Scrap Twin Dragon I can get the combos going. When they die, Golem returns, and he can bring back a tuner and synch it up for a Dragon or Twin like they never got killed. Sorry if I seem mean for bagging on some Scraps, but I just want to help and many Scraps truly do suck
