Super Polymerization vs Union Monsters

I cant find a ruling anywhere saying ye or ne can you use super polymerization on a equipped union monster i think not seeing as its a equip spell but is it also still a monster me and a comrade came across this problem when we were dueling and didnt know what to do he was attempting to use super poly on my koistu(equipped to Aitsu) with a EHero to make zero but we didnt know what to do O_O

Union monsters keep their name attribute and type while equipped so i think you can. But i need other's confirmation for this.

thats what i mean once theyre equipped theyre treated as equip spells so i wudnt think you can because as far as i know theyre not treated as monsters anymore

Super poly specifics Monsters, and only monsters. when a Union monster is equipped to a monster, Its treated as a Spell card and not a monster. So, No you cannot send an equipped union monster as a material for Super poly.

Union monsters, while equipped to another monster, are treated as Equip Spell Cards, and not Monsters.
