i hate changing th banlist they screwed 2-3 of my good decks and know they are gonna do it again :/ *CENSORED* that game its not for me i guess :SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Current thoughts on how they will change the game, since I do believe Konami is trying to change the game drastically for our upcoming format once again. My thoughts or predictions might change quite soon but I will just edit this post if I indeed change my predictions.

Banned Cards:

I do not think they will bring anything back that has been banned for something like Dark Hole/Cold Wave. Although they might ban Monster Reborn and bring back Premature Burial since it has a cost and is an equip card therefore it has more weak spots and thereby less broken. Apart from something like this I do not expect any changes in this department, nor do I think that thy will ban anything that currently holds the Semi-limited label or limited label.

Limited Cards:

This list will see some changes as I expect for example: Dandylion ( I am not hoping for it but I do expect it ). This card has been splashed into so many decks that it holds some sort of meaning to limited this card again. Furthermore they will probably limit Blackrose Dragon again although it wouldn't have any drastic changes on the actual game in my humble opinion. Treeborn Frog ( ik it doesn't make a lot of sense ) but I have the feeling after seeing how Formula Monarchs are doing they might just want to weaken this deck concept to make more space fro the new archetypes on their way and for rather left alone archetypes.

Semi Limited List:

This I have to say is my favourite list when it comes to the entire ban list. I do expect Debris Dragon to hit this list and that Faultroll and maybe Darksoul are going to see this side of the ban list as well. Gateway will hopefully see this list along with Black Whirl Wind ( I hope but do not really expect it ). Cards that will remain their position here which I would like to see get unlimited are: Chaos Sorcerer, Honest, Bottomless Trap Hole and my personal weird prediction Formula Synchron. But seeing the OCG this will not happen just like that, but then again I do expect Konami to do some weird stuff again and this would be pretty sweet weirdness in my humble opinion.

As for the unlimited list, no huge changes are going to happen from what I predict Konami is going to do, they might just want to semi lited Cyber Dragon again ( which in my opinion wouldn't make alot of sense ) and the above mentioned cards.

It's not early. There is only one booster pack and we know what it contains ;/ .
@dc in real life there is no trishula in ocg.

Also TDP, Premature Burial is more broken than Monster Reborn. Imagine having it with brionac on the field...You can reuse it again and again.

That is a hidden combo which will see some plays but you don't see Prohibition being limited/banned, since that also has a loop with the Aliens. Premature when compared to Monster Reborn is less broken and thereby more balanced. Plus if you wish to to do the loop you keep paying 800lp and you are losing your monster, so it would only benefit you to do it with searchers like Sangan, Goblin Zombie, Darksoul.

Dark Hole, won't be re-banned this fast for sure since they are also going to mass produce swarm archetypes or make them come back or just stronger by more support. Plus the fact they brought it back this format which usually means it will stay limited for some time. Same actually also goes for Monster Reborn, but I just hope they will make it that Premature is coming back.

Mind Control will never see a ban, it a balanced card due it no way you can tribute it ( thereby only use it for a synchro or fusion ) and not being able to ATK with the monster you took with Mind Control. Brain control on the other hand will stay banned due to it being a 1 card game changer/winner. Thus meaning it is OP'd and too many people have complained about it in the past for letting it go back to the limited list just like that.

As for Cold Wave, I myself don't see it getting banned, sure it is a pro card but not OP'd nor can it be used by all decks just like that like Heavy Storm can be used in any deck just like that.

MST wouldn't go onto being unlimited in my opinion since it is a 1 4 1 card which card produce annoying *CENSORED* in the game while Konami has invested a lot of money for new archetypes or support for old ones which include continues spells and traps. But they could just let it go to the unlimited list for taunting us. Same goes for Snipe Hunter ( the taunting thingy that is ) since there is no need to have Snipe Hunter being unlimited, there is no demand for it in new archetypes nor an old archetype that needs it badly to stay competitive so I definatly don't see that happening.


But these are just my opinions of course..lol

@TDP: Dark hole is rediculus no need to be around anymore. Cold wave too bringing back heavy and banning this is just fit! MST to 3 with united and gateway everywhere yeah i think is possible. Mind control let's just wait and see :)

Well most of my predictions have already been said so im going to say what i want to be playable again: Tele-DAD I think the d-draw at 2-3 and some other stuff like teleport will be fun in the format but i don't expect it.

premature burial must be destroyed to destroy the monster.its one of the most broken cards in the game.with brionac you can use it again and again without loosing monster as dutch prince said.

No one mentioned Mooyan Curry. It will be banned for sure.

You should make a tournamnt revolving around that awesome card and not brag about how it chose you to be it's wielder and how it should be banned etc etc Mr Head Spamdmin.

Damn guys, why nobody is saying something about mezuki coming back at 2. The last time I saw a zombie deck it was actualy IN MY BINDER !!!

Shape Snatch should definitly be baned because when i read the description of the card it freaks me out and i saw someone with that card in his side deck in a shonen jump so thats going out of the game for sure.

it must be hard for you scorp that you cant use zombie deck since the last time we spoke (some months before) it was your favorite type of deck O.o

One card noone mentioned but might get hit is POA. I mean the card is just rediculus

With Ryko and generaly mill decks, it is over-abused. Take a look at Plant synchros.
I would like Ryko to get hit, but that won't happen :(
